Pacific Air Forces, at U.S. Pacific Command's direction, stood up an Air Contingent at Clark Air Base, Philippines. The Air Contingent began flying their first missions focusing on working with the Philippines Air Force and providing air and maritime awareness within the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Clark Airbase Hospital was built during world war 2 and Vietnam war. Many wounded american soldiers from Vietnam was brought here and hundreds of soldiers was died on this hospital. Clark Air Base is a former United States Air Force base on Luzon Island in the Philippines during the war.
